Waymo narrows case against Uber as court date nears

Waymo has dropped three of the four patent cases against Uber, as it endeavors to limit the body of evidence against Uber under the steady gaze of the October court date.



The claim fixates on Anthony Levandowski, an ex-Google executive who purportedly stole 14,000 private reports when he exited the organization to begin Otto, which was then sold to Uber. Levandowski was terminated from Uber a month ago.

Waymo claims that Uber knew Levandowski had stolen reports before obtaining it.
